Agustero-Naparanjanusnaparan@sccpag.edu.ph<p><em>Libraries are the keeper of knowledge so libraries have the role to give their patrons knowledge that they need and that includes physical resources and online resources. This study sought to discover which resource researchers use in their research projects. The researchers gathered quantitative data from several bound theses throughout a five-year period from the library and all faculties of the school. Seven participants were interviewed to supplement the quantitative data. The quantitative results of the data analysis showed that there was a considerable difference in the utilization of resources throughout five years. The qualitative findings found that participants were mostly unaware about the services in the library thus it was hard for them to find relevant information in the library and relied mostly on online resources. The study concluded that online references were indeed the most used resources in research by undergraduate students. The study recommended that the library may need to advocate on activities that may increase library literacy on services like the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC).</em></p><p><em><em>------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------</em></em></p><p><em>Perpustakaan merupakan lembaga yang menjaga ilmu pengetahuan, kehadiran perpustakaan memiliki peran untuk memberikan pengetahuan yang dibutuhkan oleh pengunjungnya, termasuk sumber daya fisik dan sumber daya daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan sumber daya apa yang digunakan peneliti dalam proyek penelitian mereka. Para peneliti mengumpulkan data kuantitatif dari beberapa tesis terikat selama periode lima tahun dari perpustakaan dan semua fakultas di sekolah. Tujuh partisipan diwawancara untuk melengkapi data kuantitatif tersebut. Hasil analisis data kuantitatif menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang cukup besar dalam pemanfaatan sumber daya selama lima tahun. Temuan kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa partisipan sebagian besar tidak menyadari layanan di perpustakaan sehingga sulit bagi mereka untuk menemukan informasi relevan di perpustakaan dan lebih mengandalkan sumber daya daring. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa referensi online memang menjadi sumber daya yang paling banyak digunakan dalam penelitian oleh mahasiswa sarjana. The method used is descriptive qualitative research method. The focus of the research is to examine how this collaboration contributes to increasing public interest in reading, especially in the context of book exhibitions. The results of this study reveal the implementation process of cooperation between the Bandung City Archives and Library Office and the Indonesian Publishers Association (IKAPI) in organizing book exhibitions. In addition, the research also identifies the challenges faced in implementing this collaboration. The results show that this collaboration has succeeded in creating a positive atmosphere that increases people's interest in reading. Despite the success, there are some obstacles such as limited resources and the changing preferences of an increasingly digital society. This research provides an in-depth understanding of the effectiveness of the collaboration between the Bandung City Archives and Library Office and the Indonesian Publishers Association (IKAPI) in increasing public interest in reading through book exhibitions. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Fokus penelitian adalah mengkaji bagaimana kerjasama ini berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan minat baca masyarakat, khususnya dalam konteks pameran buku. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan proses pelaksanaan kerjasama antara Dinas Arsip dan Perpustakaan Kota Bandung dengan Ikatan Penerbit Indonesia (IKAPI) dalam mengadakan pameran buku. Penelitian juga mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi dalam mengimplementasikan kerjsama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kerjasama ini telah berhasil menciptakan atmosfer positif yang meningkatkan minat baca masyarakat. Meskipun berhasil, terdapat beberapa kendala seperti keterbatasan sumber daya dan perubahan preferensi masyarakat yang semakin digital. Many efforts have been taken to foster literacy. One of them is through efforts to implement 6 basic literacies carried out in Tarsus Pakulalut activities to generate the spirit of literacy, including literacy, numeracy, science, financial, digital, and also cultural and civic literacy. The purpose of this study is to explain the function of Tarsus Pakulaut activities associated with the 6 basic literacies. This research applies a descriptive approach using qualitative research methods. In this study, data triangulation is conducted by utilizing observation techniques, documentation, and interviews with Tarsus Pakulaut activity coaches and also Tarsus Pakulaut member communities. The results showed the role and support of Tarsus activities for the 6 basic literacies, among others: Village youth who provide Islamic material, breaking the fast with the Tarsus Pakulaut congregation, Tarsus Pakulaut Islamic Quiz Competition, making social media both Instagram, Facebook and also websites, Tarsus Pakulaut's Yuk Sedekah activity (Almsgiving activities for Tarsus), and finally the Nasyid Creation Competition (Islamic singing) and also the Tarsus Pakulaut Takbir Parade.</span></em></p><p><span lang="EN-US"><em>------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------</em></span></p><p><span lang="EN-US"><span lang="EN-US">Tarsus (Tarawih Khusus) merupakan nama program kegiatan dari Desa Pakulaut dalam meningkatkan literasi masyarakat. Banyak upaya yang dilakukan untuk memajukan literasi, salah satunya melalui implementasi 6 literasi dasar yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan Tarsus Pakulaut untuk mengembangkan semangat literasi, termasuk literasi bahasa, numerasi, sains, keuangan, digital, serta literasi budaya dan kewargaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan fungsi kegiatan Tarsus Pakulaut yang terkait dengan 6 literasi dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan metode penelitian kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini, triangulasi data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara dengan pembina kegiatan Tarsus Pakulaut dan juga anggota komunitas Tarsus Pakulaut. Descriptive and qualitative research methods were used. Data were obtained through interviews, documentation, and observations. The researchers choose a descriptive qualitative method because of its ability to integrate all data produced descriptively through written expressions, sourced from interviewees, and considered reliable. The results showed that the seminar on the introduction of artificial intelligence (AI) and various research tools in writing scientific papers was well received by students. The material is provided in the form of an explanation of the concept of information literacy, the introduction of artificial intelligence (AI), various research tools in writing scientific papers, the practice and utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) and various research tools in writing scientific papers. This training has the effect of improving the literacy skills of scientific writing. Thus, it can be concluded that the information literacy skills of students, who were originally still limited, are now improving with this seminar. These abilities include identifying information needs, accessing and evaluating information, and utilizing the information wisely and effectively.</em></p><p><em><em>------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------</em></em></p><p>Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana seminar pengenalan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dan Ragam Research Tools dalam penulisan karya ilmiah di Perpustakaan Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Ambarukmo (STIPRAM) Yogyakarta, dan peran seminar terhadap ketrampilan literasi informasi penulisan karya ilmiah mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Pada penelitian ini, data di peroleh melalui wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Peneliti memilih metode deskriptif kualitatif karena dalam mengintegrasikan seluruh data yang dihasilkan secara deskriptif melalui ungkapan tertulis, bersumber dari narasumber yang diwawancarai serta dianggap dapat dipercaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seminar pengenalan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dan ragam research tools dalam penulisan karya ilmiah yang dilaksanakan dapat diterima baik oleh mahasiswa. Materi yang diberikan berupa penjelasan konsep literasi informasi, pengenalan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dan Ragam Research Tools dalam penulisan karya ilmiah dan praktik serta pemanfaatan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dan Ragam Research Tools dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. Pelatihan ini berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan keterampilan literasi penulisan karya ilmiah. The discussion in this research concerns student competence in using social media at SMA Teuku Nyak Ariief Bilingual School. The method used is descriptive quantitative using a Likert scale measurement instrument with a scale of 1-4. The sample in this study was 30 grade 3 female students. The problem in this research is what is the level of students' skills in using social media at SMA Teuku Nyak Ariief Bilingual School using two indicators, namely technical skills and critical understanding. The results of the research show that class 3 students when using social media are in the medium phase with a percentage ranging from 80%. It can be interpreted that the third grade students at SMA Teuku Nyak Ariief Bilingual School understand that individuals are already proficient in using media, know its function and are able to carry out certain functions and carry out more complex activities.</em></p><p><em>------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------</em></p><p>Literasi media merupakan salah satu bagian ranah dari ilmu perpustakaan dan informais dalam mewujudkan masyarakat yang literat. Pembahasan dalam penelitian ini mengenai kompetensi siswa dalam bermedia sosial pada SMA Teuku Nyak Arief Bilingual School. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Pada penelitian ini metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skala likert, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswi kelas 3 yang berjumlah 30 orang siswa. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimakah tingkat keterampilan siswa dalam bermedia sosial pada SMA Teuku Nyak Arief Bilingual School dengan menggunakan dua Indikator yaitu technical skill dan critical understanding. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas 3 pada saat bermedia sosial berada pada fase medium dengan persentase berkisar pada 80%. This qualitative research data is collected by means of the study of the library by collecting the reading materials that correspond to the discussion. The data is then done reading techniques and recorded from the reading results of the materials related to the struggle of aceh and contribution to nusantara and culture. The results of reading and recording techniques, will answer the form of the problem is how to fight aceh against nusantara, and how the fight of Aceh in culture. Thus it can be concluded that the aceh's historical championship is very great against Nusantara and culture also from the point of view of Islamization in Nusantara. It is based on the territory of the Acheh and the attitude of the acheh monarchy as well as the diplomatic relations carried out by the Aceh kingdoms. </p><p><em>------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------</em></p><p><em><span lang="EN-US">Kajian ini mendeskripsikan tentang sikap perjuangan masyarakat Aceh ditinjau dari sejarah serta bentuk kontribusi perjuangan masyarakat Aceh terhadap Nusantara dan kebudayaan Aceh. Data penelitian kualitatif ini dikumpulkan dengan cara studi kepustakaan dengan mengumpulkan bahan-bahan bacaan yang sesuai dengan pembahasan. Data tersebut kemudian dilakukan teknik membaca dan dicatat dari hasil pembacaan materi-materi yang berkaitan dengan perjuangan aceh dan kontribusinya terhadap nusantara dan kebudayaan. Hasil dari teknik baca dan rekam, akan menjawab berupa permasalahan bagaimana perjuangan aceh melawan nusantara, dan bagaimana perjuangan aceh secara budaya. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa keutamaan sejarah aceh sangat besar terhadap nusantara dan budaya juga dari sudut pandang islamisasi di nusantara. In discussing these issues, this article uses Ferdinand De Sausure's semiotic theory on the concepts of signifier and signified. Signifier is a form of sound image that has meaning. Meanwhile, the signified is a form of thought/idea that explains the understanding of the signifier. This research is a library research where researchers analyze reading sources using certain theories. The results found from this study are that Nizar's poem entitled "Hub Bila Hudud" contains many words of love that refer to semiotic meanings. This study aims at critically analyzing people's perceptions towards the implementation of Islamic shari'a and the life of the people of Banda Aceh city related to the implementation of Islamic shari'a in a kaffah manner. This research used a qualitative method from a phenomenological perspectives through a grounded research approach. Data collection techniques was done through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis is done through open, axial, and selective coding. The results show that the public’s perception towards the implementation of Islamic shari’a in Banda Aceh city has not been implemented in people's life by qanun No. 11 of 2002 concerning creed, worship, and syi'ar (lecturing). The application of Islamic shari'a is not by the principles and the objectives of it; the direction of its application tends to be political and symbolic. It is only limited to physical matters and not comprehensive in the life of the community, while the substance of it has not been realized in people's life. The life of the people in Banda Aceh city is not much different and no significant changes in people's attitudes before and after the implementation of it.</em></p><p><em><em>--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------</em></em></p><p>Penerapan syari’at Islam di Aceh telah berlangsung selama lebih kurang 22 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara kritis persepsi masyarakat terhadap penerapan syahri’at Islam dan kehidupan masyarakat kota Banda Aceh terkait penerapan syari’at Islam secara kaffah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dari sudut pandang fenomenologis melalui pendekatan grounded research. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Analisis data melalui pengkodean terbuka, aksial dan selektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi masyarakat terhadap penerapan syari’at Islam di kota Banda Aceh belum terimplementasi dalam kehidupan masyarakat berdasarkan qanun Nomor 11 Tahun 2002 tentang Akidah, Ibadah dan Syi’ar. Penerapan syari’at Islam belum sesuai dengan prinsip dan tujuannya; arah penerapannya cendrung politis dan simbolik. Hanya sebatas pada hal- hal yang bersifat fisik dan belum menyeluruh dalam kehidupan masyarakat, sedangkan substansinya belum juga terwujud dalam kehidupan yang nyata dalam masyarakat. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data collection method is through observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that Korean Wave spreads through social media which is currently loved by many teenagers, many factors influence the interest in K-Wave such as fashion styles, music colors, beauty products, and others. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Korean Wave menyebar melalui sosial media yang saat ini banyak digandrungi oleh remaja, banyaknya faktor yang mempengaruhi ketertarikan terhadap <em>K-Wave</em> seperti <em>fashion style</em>, warna musik, produk kecantikan, dan lainnya.
