STUDY OF ISLAMIC VALUES IN THE FUNDAMENTAL LAWS OF CHEMISTRY

Abstract


Study about Islamic values in the fundamental laws of chemistry has been conducted by viewing philosophically at special cases of the mass conservation law, the definite compositions law, the multiple proportions law, the gaseous volume law, and the Avogadro law. It integrates Islamic values to strengthen and be strengthened on main idea of the laws. The method used is qualitative descriptive which consist of content analysis technique, philosophical approach, triadic model analysis, and confirmation pattern analysis. It shows that the Islamic values are (1) trust litigatation Allah based on the law of conservation of mass, (2) faith in Qadha’ and Qadr and surrender to Allah SWT by the law of definite proportions, (3) worship with Iklhas to expect the pleasure of Allah by the law of multiple proportions, and (4) istiqamah associated with sincerity by the Avogadro's law.
