Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines

  1. Submitted article must be an original article which not published or being reviewed in other publishers.
  2. Article is accepted in two languages, in Bahasa Indonesia with Ejaan Yang Disempurnakan (EYD), and also well-written in English with British or United State spelling.
  3. The content of article consist of wide range of law science including Sharia law;
  4. Article types using Microsoft Word with file extension doc or rtf, with Cambria font 12 (spacing 1,5), and A4 paper.
  5. Length of article is between 4500 – 5500 words, including bibliography and footnote.
  6. Using footnote system and bibliography.
  7. Article consists of; Title (related to the contents of article), Author’s name, Affiliation and Email.
  8. Abstract must be written in Bahasa Indonesia and English, word range between 150 - 200 words, including Key Words between 3 - 5 words.

  1. All articles received by editors will be sent to reviewers, using double blind review after removing author’s name and affiliation. Only a qualified article will be published.
  2. Author have chance to revise any feedback based on advice and recommendation from reviewer as well as editors.
  3. Article can be submitted through online application on Petita website or e-email: jurnal.petita@ar-raniry.ac.id
  4. Petita is issued two times a year, April and November. The deadline submission for April period is in 28 February, and 30 September for November period.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
