Munassir Alhamami is an Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics at the Faculty of Languages & Translation, King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia. He received his BA in English from King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia; his MA in TESOL/CALL from Trinity Western University, Canada; and his PhD from University of Hawaii at Manoa, USA. He teaches graduate and undergraduate applied linguistics courses at King Khalid University. He has published several research articles on various aspects of applied linguistics. His main academic interests include language learner beliefs, online language learning, English for specific purposes, multilingualism in Saudi Arabia, the language of instruction, and mixed-methods research in applied linguistics.
