Abstract

This research aims to investigate the implementation of Islamic religious education lessons at Asy-Syuhada Islamic Boarding School in Cirebon. The approach employed in this study falls under the qualitative approach. Data sources were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data processing proceeded through several stages. The first stage involved data collection, followed by data reduction as the second stage. This was followed by data presentation, with the final stage being drawing conclusions. Based on this research, several findings were discovered. Asy-Syuhada Boarding School is an Islamic educational institution under the auspices of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Islamic religious education lessons have been implemented in this educational institution. The students at Asy-Syuhada Boarding School in Cirebon are junior high school students. Islamic religious education lessons at Asy-Syuhada Boarding School are conducted through regular study sessions focusing on discussions of traditional Islamic texts outside of regular school hours. Teaching methods still predominantly emphasize cognitive aspects, while affective and psychomotor aspects are not yet prominently featured. Assessment and evaluation of learning outcomes in affective and psychomotor domains still need improvement.
