This article discusses the concept of multiculturalism in encouraging inclusiveness and diversity in the educational environment with the research setting of Islamic religious education. This research uses a qualitative method with a library research approach. The results explain that multicultural education teaches students to see diversity as a strength, not as a source of conflict or division. They learn to understand that each individual has a unique background and experience, which can enrich their perspective and contribution to society. As a pioneer in advancing multicultural-based education, Islamic religious education emphasizes integrating values such as andragogy, peace, inclusivism, wisdom, tolerance, humanism, and freedom in teaching. On the other hand, it needs to be understood together, especially educators, that education is teaching current old themes and educating our children to become cultured, civilized, and sensitive. This article provides insight into the values and implementation of multicultural Islamic religious education in encouraging inclusiveness and diversity in the school environment.
