This study aims to analyze the role of dhuha prayer in student character building at MTS PP. PERGIS Gandra, Soppeng. With a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results showed that the implementation of dhuha prayer routinely has a positive impact on student character building, especially in terms of discipline, responsibility, and religiosity. Students who consistently perform dhuha prayer also tend to have higher learning motivation and better academic achievement. However, this study found several obstacles, such as limited time and the low awareness of some students about the importance of this worship. To overcome these challenges, it is suggested that there should be increased socialization of the benefits of dhuha prayer, integration of spiritual values into the character education curriculum, and implementation of creative activities to increase student interest. The findings are expected to contribute to the development of character education in Islamic schools, as well as promoting the practice of worship as an integral part of the learning process.
