PEMBINAAN UBUDIYAH DALAM PEMBENTUKAN RELIGIUSITAS SANTRI DI DAYAH MODERN DARUL ULUM BANDA ACEH

Abstract

This study aims to examine the guidance of ubudiyah in the formation of religiousness of students at Dayah Modern Darul Ulum Banda Aceh. The main problem raised is how the process of guidance of ubudiyah is carried out at the dayah, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors for guidance of ubudiyah in the formation of religiousness of students. The purpose of this study is to describe the method of guidance of ubudiyah applied at Dayah Modern Darul Ulum and to find the supporting and inhibiting factors in the formation of religious character of students. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, where data collection is carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation related to guidance activities at the dayah. The results of the study indicate that guidance of ubudiyah carried out at Dayah Modern Darul Ulum includes ritual activities such as congregational prayer, reading the Qur'an, Wirid zikir and prayer, night reflection programs or muhasabah and moral learning. This guidance has a significant influence in forming the religiosity of students, which is reflected in the increase in awareness of worship, religious knowledge, and more Islamic daily behavior. The conclusion of this study is that the guidance of ubudiyah at Dayah Modern Darul Ulum Banda Aceh shows positive results in the formation of the religiosity of students. However, to achieve more optimal results, efforts are needed to overcome inhibiting factors, such as building students' awareness of worship, communicating with the students' guardians, and paying more attention to the impact of technology and the social environment outside the Dayah. In this way, ubudiyah development can run more effectively and produce students who are not only competent in worship, but also have strong Islamic character in everyday life.
