Thics Statement

The editorial board of Jurnal Ners Indonesia establishes publication ethics which refers to the regulation of the Head of LIPI number 5 of 2014 and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). These publication ethics rules apply to authors/authors, editors, peer reviewers, and journal/editor managers.

Author's Ethics

  1. The manuscript of the article to be published by the Biotic Proceedings consists of research results, theoretical studies results aimed at advancing existing theories or adapting theories to a local situation and / or the results of theoretical studies with the aim of reviewing and synthesizing existing theories, reviewing new books, and editorial rubrics, scientific activities of professional organizations.
  2. Authors should promptly respond to comments from reviewers/ peer reviewers in a professional and timely manner.
  3. The author must ensure that the submitted article is the original manuscript for which the author is fully responsible and has never been published. Submitted articles are free from duplication, fabrication (design), falsification (falsification of data) and plagiarism / autoplagiarim.
  4. Manuscripts of articles that are in the process of being published or that have been published by biotic proceedings become the property of the editor and may not be published again by other parties in any form.
  5. If there is a scriptwriting error, the author must immediately inform the editor. Writing errors include writing names, affiliates/agencies, citations, and other writings that can reduce the meaning and substance of the manuscript. If that happens, the author should immediately propose an overhaul of the manuscript.
  6. Authors must understand the ethics of scientific publications above to avoid conflicts of interest with other parties, so that manuscripts can be processed smoothly and safely.

Editor's Ethics

Editors must ensure a thorough, transparent, objective, fair, and thoughtful manuscript review process. This is the basis for editors in making decisions on a manuscript, rejected or accepted. In this case, the editorial board plays the role of the manuscript selection team.

  1. Editors should ensure that scriptwriting guidelines for authors, reviewers/peer reviewers and other interested parties are clearly accessible and read, both print and electronic versions.
  2. Editors must ensure that reviewers/ peer reviewers and manuscript materials are reviewed, as well as clearly inform the terms and process of manuscript review.
  3. Editors must be objective, neutral, and honest in editing the manuscript, regardless of the gender, business side, ethnicity, religion, race, inter-class, and nationality of the author.
  4. Editors should take good care of any information, particularly those related to the privacy of the author and the distribution of his manuscript.
  5. Editors must understand the ethics of scientific publications above to avoid conflicts of interest with other parties, so that the manuscript publishing process runs smoothly and safely.

 Ethics reviewer / peer reviewer

  1. Reviewers/partners must be honest, objective, unbiased, independent, and only on the side of scientific truth. The process of reviewing the manuscript is carried out professionally without distinguishing gender, business side, ethnicity, religion, race, inter-group, and nationality of the author.
  2. Reviewers/bestari partners must ensure that the source of reference/manuscript citation is appropriate and credible (accountable). If errors or irregularities are found in the writing of the reference source/citation, the reviewer must immediately inform the editor for improvement by the author according to the notes of the reviewer.
  3. Reviewers / bestari partners must respond to the manuscript that has been sent by the editor and work in accordance with the predetermined manuscript review time (peer-review) (maximum 4 weeks). If you need additional time in manuscript review, you must immediately report (confirm) to the secretariat of BIOTIC PROCEEDINGS.
  4. Reviewers / bestari partners must understand the ethics of scientific publications above to avoid conflicts of interest with other parties, so that the manuscript publishing process runs smoothly and safely.

 Journal Management Ethics

  1. The Manager of the Proceedings /editorial board shall refer to the rules of the Biotic Proceedings, especially those relating to the establishment of policies and decisions on the issuance of proceedings in the absence of certain interests.
  2. Biotic Proceedings Managers must give freedom to reviewers / peer reviewers and editors to create a comfortable working atmosphere and respect the privacy of the author.
  3. Biotic Proceedings Managers must guarantee and protect intellectual property rights (copyrights), as well as be transparent in managing funds received by third parties. In addition, journal managers must publish and promote the results of publications to the public by providing guarantees of expediency in the use of manuscripts.
  4. Biotic Proceedings Managers must understand the ethics of scientific publications above to avoid conflicts of interest with other parties, so that the manuscript publishing process runs smoothly and safely.

Publication Fee

Proceedings of Biotik do not charge APC (Article Publication Charges) fees, submit fees, but there is funding for the editor and layout process.
