Author Guidelines

NEW SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

  1. All articles must be submitted to Jurnal Peurawi’s editorial office by online submission at: Register where author registers as Author and/or offered as Reviewer by online. If authors have any problems with the online submission, please contact Jurnal Peurawi editorial office at the following email: peurawi@ar-raniry.ac.id
  2. Any articles submitted in this journal should be scientific (research articles), original and not yet published and/or submitted to another journal or publisher. The writer should sign a statement of compliance with the submission checklist.
  3. The content of the article relates to the thematic focus and scope of Jurnal Peurawi. The translation of a manuscript submitted or published elsewhere is not accepted.
  4. The manuscript should be written in Indonesian or English language and fulfills the criteria of good and correct prose.
  5. The length of the article is around 4,000 to 7,000 words with 1,5 space, typed in MS-Word, with Times New Roman font size 12 on A4 paper (the margin for right, left, top and down is 2 cm).
  6. Due to the double-blind review policy, the author must remove any trace of identification such as name(s) and e-mail address in the submitted manuscript file.
  7. Mendeley should be used as reference tools.
  8. The abstract should:
    • Be written in Indonesian and English.
    • Provide a synopsis of the entire article.
    • Start with the broad context of the study, followed by specific background for the study.
    • Refer to the study’s theoretical framework and summarize its purpose, methods, core findings and conclusions.
    • Emphasize innovative or otherwise important aspects of the study.
    • Avoid jargon and be understandable for a diverse audience.
    • Limited to a single paragraph of no more than 250 words.
    • Free of citations or uncommon abbreviations.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it under consideration by another journal.
  2. The submission file is in an OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate place, rather than at the end.
  4. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  5. If a manuscript is submitted to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Double-Blind Review have to be followed.
