Abstract

Tulisan ini merupakan hasil kajian pasca tsunami yang berisi tentang panduan orang tua untuk menolong anak-anak melalui proses pemulihan trauma di rumah. Orang tua memainkan peran penting dalam proses pemulihan trauma. Antara elemen penting adalah dukungan sosial orangtua.Antara elemen dukungan social tersebut adalah dukungan informasi, dukungan emosional, dukungan instrumental dan dukungan hubungan.Pengalaman penulis menangani manajemen trauma bersama klien di Kota Banda Aceh dan Aceh Besardi Propinsi Aceh telah diaplikasikan dalam penulisan ini.
