Abstract

This study aims to analyze physics teachers’ pedagogical competence based on the National Education Standards (SNP) through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach using the PRISMA protocol. Data were obtained from national (Sinta-indexed) and reputable international journals published between 2015 and 2024. Out of 142 identified studies, 28 met the inclusion criteria after the identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion stages. The results indicate that physics teachers’ pedagogical competence varies considerably, with the strongest aspect being understanding students’ characteristics (82%) and the weakest being curriculum development and learning evaluation (56%). Contributing factors include continuous professional training, teaching experience, and institutional support. This study contributes by mapping the trends and determinants of physics teachers’ pedagogical competence in Indonesia. The findings emphasize the importance of professional development based on pedagogical reflection and collaborative learning through lesson study and peer coaching.
