POTENSI BIODIVERSITAS INDONESIA SEBAGAI INHIBITOR XANTINA OKSIDASE DAN ANTIGOUT

Abstract


Tendency for people to go back to nature and the government's policy to "Saintifikasi Jamu" prioritizing in degenerative diseases such as hyperglycemia, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia and hyperuricemia / gout is a condition that is highly prospective and has pushed for the development of research on medicinal plants-based biodiversity Indonesiasebagai state megabiodiversity. Results of research have shown that among the diversity of Indonesia's biodiversity as a potential inhibitor of xanthine oxidase (XO) and antigot is sidaguri (Sida rhombifolia L), celery (Apium graveolens L), fruits (Salacca R. edulis) varieties of Bangkok, ear- earrings (Acalypha indicaL.), and Bitter (Andrographis paniculata, Ness.). Ethanol extract of the herb sidaguri XO inhibitor has potential as indicated by the ability to dampen the activity of XO with IC50 values <100 ppm, while the ethanol extract of celery can inhibit the enzyme activity by 6:04 XO% to 74.01% in the extract concentration range of 100-2000 mg L-1 .Pengujian vitro ethyl acetate extract of fruits bangkok shows the inhibitory activity of up to 50 percent with the XO enzyme IC5024,75 ug mL-1. Water extract earrings 450 ppm concentration can dampen the activity of XO was reported by 66.78% and 150 ppm of ethanol extract inhibits the activity of XO by 65.84%. Other plants bitter, also reported that the bitter root ethanol extract can inhibit the enzyme activity of XO up to 63.11% in the concentration range of 10-20 ppm and has nilaiIC50 of 16.82 ug mL-1.
