Archiving Policy
Bunayya: Jurnal Pendidikan Anak is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and security of all published content. We recognize the importance of maintaining the scholarly record for future generations and for the academic community worldwide.
Digital Preservation
To safeguard our published material against loss, corruption, or technological obsolescence, the journal implements a multi-layered archiving and preservation strategy:
- LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries, allowing these libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration. See more at: www.lockss.org
- PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): Our content is preserved through the Public Knowledge Project’s PKP Preservation Network, which provides free preservation services for Open Journal Systems (OJS) journals. More information: PKP PN
- Institutional Repositories: Authors are encouraged to deposit published versions of their work in institutional and subject repositories, personal websites, or other open archives, as permitted by our journal’s license.
- Independent Backups: Regular full backups of all journal content and metadata are maintained on secure external storage by the editorial office.
Indexing & Third-Party Services
Published articles are registered with and/or indexed in multiple digital databases, directories, and scholarly archives to further ensure redundancy and discoverability (e.g., DOAJ, Crossref, national libraries, etc.).
Access in Case of Journal Closure
If the journal is ever discontinued or ceases publication, all published articles and issues will remain accessible through our archiving partners, institutional repositories, and the journal’s website (where feasible), to maintain permanent access to the scholarly record.
Self-Archiving Policy
Authors may self-archive the final published version (PDF) of their article in institutional repositories, personal websites, or non-commercial subject repositories immediately upon publication, subject to proper attribution to the journal and license.
For further information regarding our digital preservation arrangements or to report any access issues with past content, please contact the editorial office.
