Analisis Pandangan Abdul Moqsith Ghazali dan Hamid Fahmy Zarkasyi terhadap Pluralisme Agama dalam Penafsiran Ayat-Ayat Al-Quran

The issue of religious pluralism continues to resonate in the millennial era. In this context, Abdul Moqsith Ghazali and Hamid Fahmy Zarkasyi are two contemporary figures whose perspectives and interpretations of Quranic verses related to religious pluralism are relevant for further examination. The aim of this research is to analyze the views of both figures on religious pluralism and their interpretations of verses regarding the salvation of religious communities found in Surah Al-Baqarah [2]:62 and Surah Al-Maidah [5]:69. This study employs a library research method, utilizing primary data from Abdul Moqsith Ghazali's work, "Argumen Pluralisme Agama" (Arguments for Religious Pluralism), and Hamid Fahmi Zarkasyi's works, "Misykat" and "Pluralisme Agama" (Religious Pluralism). Secondary data includes Tafsir literature and other relevant sources.. The findings of this research indicate that, in terms of interpretation, Hamid's perspective is more comprehensive and objective. However, within the context of interreligious harmony, Abdul Moqsith's viewpoint is more contextual and better aligned with the realities of society.

Dalam konteks ini, Abdul Moqsith Ghazali dan Hamid Fahmy Zarkasyi merupakan dua tokoh kontemporer yang relevan untuk dikaji pandangan dan penafsiran mereka terhadap ayat-ayat Al-Quran yang berkaitan dengan pluralisme agama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pandangan kedua tokoh tersebut terhadap pluralisme agama dan penafsiran mereka terhadap ayat-ayat tentang keselamatan umat beragama yang terdapat pada QS. Al-Baqarah [2]:62 dan QS. Al-Maidah [5]:69. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi kepustakaan dengan data primer berupa karya Abdul Moqsith Ghazali: "Argumen Pluralisme Agama" dan karya Hamid Fahmi Zarkasyi: "Misykat" dan "Pluralisme Agama". Data sekunder yang digunakan meliputi kitab tafsir dan sumber-sumber relevan lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari segi penafsiran, pandangan Hamid lebih komprehensif dan objektif. Namun, dalam konteks kerukunan umat beragama, pendapat Abdul Moqsith lebih kontekstual dan lebih dapat diterima oleh realitas masyarakat.
