Publication Ethics
At-Taujih: Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. Authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers are expected to follow ethical behavior as outlined below.
Duties of Authors

Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original, free from plagiarism, and have not been published elsewhere.

Proper acknowledgment of others’ work must be given, and all sources used must be appropriately cited.

All authors must have significantly contributed to the research, and all who made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors.

Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest that may affect the interpretation of their research.

If authors discover significant errors or inaccuracies in their published work, they are obliged to promptly notify the journal editor or publisher and cooperate with them to correct or retract the paper.
Duties of Editors

Editors are responsible for deciding which articles submitted to the journal should be published.

Editors must ensure a fair and unbiased peer-review process and ensure confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts.

Editors must not use unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript for their own research without written consent from the author.

Editors should take appropriate action if they suspect any ethical issues or misconduct.
Duties of Reviewers

Reviewers must maintain confidentiality regarding the manuscripts they review and must not use information obtained during the review process for personal gain.

Reviewers should provide objective and constructive feedback to improve the quality of the manuscript.

Reviewers must disclose any potential conflict of interest and recuse themselves from reviewing manuscripts where such conflicts exist.
Duties of the Publisher

The publisher must ensure that editorial decisions are based solely on academic merit and free from commercial influence.

The publisher shall work with editors to handle cases of ethical misconduct and ensure proper corrections, retractions, or clarifications when needed.
