MEMBER LOYALTY OPTIMIZING STRATEGY IN THE BAITUL QIRADH BABURRAYYAN COOPERATIVE

Abstract


Cooperatives have an important role in driving the economy of society in Indonesia. Currently, cooperatives face intense competition with other financial institutions, so maintaining loyalty is crucial. The Baitul Qiradh Baburrayyan Cooperative is one of the cooperatives in Central Aceh Regency that exports coffee overseas. This research aims to explore the strategy of the Baitul Qiradh Baburrayyan cooperative in maintaining member loyalty. A qualitative approach with descriptive analysis was used in this research. The results found that in maintaining member loyalty, the Baitul Qiradh Baburrayyan Cooperative implemented several strategies, namely maintaining service quality by increasing coordination and cooperation between management and members. Apart from that, cooperatives also carry out governance and business oriented towards empowering members to meet their living needs well. Cooperatives also maintain their image so that they are viewed favorably by members and other stakeholders. This research shows that cooperatives must maintain good service quality, governance, and image to maintain member loyalty.
