Abstract

Although organizational culture, workplace happiness, and leadership are frequently studied, their combined influence and the moderating role of religiosity on employee performance remain poorly understood. This study aims to bridge this gap by exploring how organizational culture, workplace happiness, and leadership affect employee performance, along with the moderating role of religiosity. Involving all employees of Bank Muamalat Indonesia in Palu (35 individuals) as the sample, the study utilizes a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. Data were collected through closed-ended questionnaires and analyzed using the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM). Intriguing findings reveal that organizational culture and workplace happiness enhance employee performance, while leadership shows no significant influence. Religiosity proves to strengthen the relationship between organizational culture and employee performance. The study underscores the importance of religious values in fostering an inclusive and productive work culture in Islamic banking. Furthermore, it highlights the need for further research with longitudinal designs and more diverse samples to deepen understanding.
