Samarah: Jurnal Hukum Keluarga dan Hukum Islam is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by Islamic Family Law Department, Sharia and Law Faculty, Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. The journal publishes research articles, conceptual articles, and book reviews of Islamic family law and Islamic law (See Focus and Scope). The articles of this journal are published 3 times a year; March, July, and November.

From the beginning of its publication in 2017, Samarah has been registered with Crossref. All articles published by Samarah have a DOI number. Samarah is also indexed by Google Scholar, Garuda, Moraref, BASE, and more indexing please go here.

In 2019, Samarah has been accredited by the Decree of the General Director of Strengthening Research and Development, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 28/E/KPT/2019. This accreditation is effective from publication Vol 2. No 1. 2018 (Sinta 5).  In the same year, Samarah has been reaccredited by Decree of the General Director of Strengthening Research and Development, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 36/E/KPT/2019. This reaccreditation is only effective on publication Vol 3. No 2. 2019 (Sinta 3).

In 2020, Samarah has been reaccredited by the Decree of the General Director of Strengthening Research and Development, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 148/M/KPT/2020.  

In 2021, Samarah has been accepted for inclusion in Scopus (owned by Elsevier) and has been indexed in Sinta 1. Samarah is the first Islamic Family Law and Islamic Law journal published by Indonesian universities to be indexed by Scopus.

Jurnal Ilmiah Islam Futura (JIIF) is an international peer reviewed journal published by the Center for Research and Publication of Universitas Islam Negeri (State Islamic University) Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh, Indonesia, since 2001. Jurnal Ilmiah Islam Futura has the primary academic mission to develop various Islamic studies based on contemporary Islamic perspective, particularly in Aceh and Indian Ocean. The word "Futura" means the future of Islam. The Islamic perspective is "how-view" oriented to Islam's values, which is the methodological foundation for the entire discipline of Islamic sciences. Historically, the Islamic perspective has colored the Islamic community's intellectual life, as reflected in scientists' and thinkers' views in the classical period. The perspective has evolved in Islamic discourses and will be expanded continuously to the present and the future. The historicity of the development is a necessity along with the Islamic community's intellectual demands in real life that increases dynamically. The online version of this journal was first published in 2016. The first address of the online version of JIIF was www.islamfutura.org. However, since UIN Ar-Raniry had a new policy to unite all journals under one roof, JIIF changed the online version address to http://jurnal.ar-raniry.ac.id/index.php/islamfutura started from August 2016.  

Jurnal Ilmiah Islam Futura also has become a CrossRef Member since the year 2016. Therefore, all articles published by Jurnal Ilmiah Islam Futura will have unique DOI numbers. Jurnal Ilmiah Islam Futura is currently indexed and/or included by DOAJ, Sinta, Moraref, Crossref, Index Copernicus, Google Scholar, BASE, etc. 

In 2017 Jurnal Ilmiah Islam Futura was accredited by the Decree of the General Director of Strengthening Research and Development, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 30/E/KPT/2018. Elkawnie is a journal of Integration Science and Technology with Islam. It's covering research and technology in the field of study of Architecture, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, ICT, Physical Engineering, and other science and technology fields. In particular, Elkawnie's journal discusses research and technology development in contributing to development as part of Muslim scientists in the academic sphere.

The History of Elkawnie Journal was started by switching the status of IAIN Ar-Raniry to UIN Ar-Raniry while the Faculty of science and technology of UIN Ar-Raniry was formed on October 13, 2013. As a form of institutional commitment to the tri dharma of higher education for lecturers, lecturer writing was formed in a Journal. This journal is named Elkawnie. The name Elkawnie itself comes from Arabic, namely Kauniyah, which means verses that prove the signs of the existence of Allah SWT in human life. The Elkawnie Journal was formed on December 12, 2014, and began releasing the first time in Volume 1 Number 1 June 2015. In 2018 Elkawnie has been accredited by the Decree of the General Director of Strengthening Research and Development, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 34/E/KPT/2018. This accreditation is valid from 10 December 2018 to 10 December 2023. In 2019, Elkawnie returned to re-accreditation to obtain a higher rank, namely SINTA 2, with certificate Number 28/E/KPT/2019.

Englisia Journal (EJ) is open access and peer-reviewed journal that considers any original scientific article that expands the field of language studies in English Language Teaching and various other related applied linguistics themes. The journal publishes articles of interest to language teachers, practitioners, and language researchers. Manuscripts must be original and educationally interesting to the audience in the field. Media Syari'ah : Wahana Kajian Hukum Islam dan Pranata Sosial is a six-monthly journal published by Sharia and Law Faculty, Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. The journal is published since February 1999 (ISSN. 1411-2353) and earned accreditation in 2003 (Accreditation No. 34/Dikti/Kep/2003) and E-ISSN 2579-5090 (No.0005.25795090/Jl.3.1/SK.ISSN/2017.04).  Media Shariah has been indexed Google Scholar and another indexation is processing some.

The journal has been nationally accredited by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia, listed in the Science and Technology Index (SINTA) database. Since the 2019 publication, this journal has ranked with SINTA 3 (61,06), which means it has become one of Indonesia's premier law journals. Ar-Raniry: International Journal of Islamic Studies is a scientific forum to disseminate and publish scholarly writings of scholars both from the State Islamic University (UIN) Ar-Raniry and other universities at the national and international levels. The presence of this journal is intended to respond to the debate in academic issues related to Islamic studies, such as the field of Islamic Education, Al-Quran and Hadith, Islamic Thoughts, Fiqh and Islamic Law, History and Islamic Civilization, Modernity, Language,  Islamic literature, and Islamic Communication. It is for this reason that the journal is expected to give a constructive and comprehensive contribution to the enlightenment of Islamic knowledge. This journal is published in two editions annually, in June and December.

Ar-Raniry invites scholars of all backgrounds related to Islamic studies to publish their articles. The publication of Jurnal Justisia: Jurnal Ilmu Hukum, Perundang-undangan dan Pranata Sosial was based on the enthusiasm of lecturers of Law Department, UIN Ar-raniry to express their thought trhrough writing. However, at that time, the Law Department did not have a media to accommodate their enthusiasm. Hence the publication of this journal is very important. Interestingly, the presence of the journal is warmly welcome by Sharia and Law faculty's lecturers. In addition, the publication of the journal has contributed to the accreditation process of the Law Department as a new major in UIN Ar-raniry. The publication of the printed version of Journal Justisia in 2016 had a positive impact on the result of "B" level accreditation based on the assessment National Committe of Accreditation.

Ar-Raniry International Conference on Islamic Studies (ARICIS) focuses on the Islamic Civilization (tamaddun) which is clearly under threat both from within and without. Internally, there is the emergence of radical Jihadists who actively promote a conformist mentality intolerant of diversity and difference. Externally, there is the widespread attraction of the materialist lifestyle weakening individual social conscience and undermining community ethical values. Both threats present real challenges for the future of the Islamic Civilization, especially for its intellectual leaders. Muslim societies are now confronted by the dominant materialistic thought patterns being promoted worldwide among liberal academics and through global media. They are also challenged by anti-islamic sentiments widespread in the West and many Asian countries. Some thoughtful responses by informed observers to these immensely important issues have been convened in several academic institutions outside Indonesia. This is an ongoing discussion which requires fresh contributions from our own intellectual leaders with the active collaboration of many more educators and officials. As part of this ongoing discussion, the Ar-Raniry International Conference on Islamic Civilization aims to advance the academic culture and quality of thought among scholars worldwiide who have concern on Islamic Studies. Hence, the ultimate goal of reawakening Islamic social ethics and strengthening intellectual and spiritual traditions for the benefit of the contemporary ummah and all humanity can be achieved.

OJS Simulation Center merupakan portal simulasi untuk mempelajari Open Journal System bagi pengelola dan pengguna OJS dilingkungan UIN Ar-Raniry. Portal simulasi ini dikelola oleh tim pengelola portal Jurnal UIN Ar-Raniry dibawah koordinasi Pusat Teknologi Informasi dan Pangkalan Data, UIN Ar-Raniry, Banda Aceh.
